The Martini-Henry began as the United Kingdom’s official service rifle in 1871, and was not phased out until 1904, but was still issued to colonial troops in the First World War. This rifle is in excellent condition, the receiver and lever retain 85% factory blue finish, turning a light, pleasant patina. It shows an excellent bore and perfect mechanics. The stock is in very good condition with no cracks or damage, showing all finely detailed cartouches. This is a fine rifle for the avid Military collector.
